XED, a leading executive education provider in Asia, in collaboration with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, has announced the launch of a new executive education program: Executive Program in Finance Strategy—For Senior Leaders in the Middle East and Asia (EPFS). Designed for senior leaders in the Middle East and Asia regions, this live-online program provides the latest thinking in finance to help executives build and sustain their organization’s competitive advantage. Participants will learn how to make more impactful business decisions by understanding how finance affects business strategy.
EPFS is a multi-modular program spread over four months, with ten live-online sessions and pre- and post-session work. It empowers leaders to upskill themselves without disrupting their work-life balance. The program's unique format allows learners to acquire new skills, apply them in the workplace, and confer with peers and world-renowned faculty about the outcomes.
“XED is pleased to collaborate with Chicago Booth to bring an open program in a sought-after domain. Created specifically for executives and leaders in the Middle East and Asia, EPFS is an unparalleled offering. Learners emerging from EPFS will be well-equipped to have a significant impact on their organization and professional career,” says John Kallelil, Founder & CEO, XED.
Meena Wehrs, Associate Dean of Executive Education at Chicago Booth said, “We are delighted to announce the first cohort of the Executive Program in Finance Strategy. Successful participants will not only earn a certificate of completion from Chicago Booth Executive Education, but they will also have access to a network of EPFS and Booth Executive Education participants worldwide. This is a unique opportunity for leaders to learn from world-class faculty and sharpen their skills and expertise in corporate finance, growth strategies, shareholder value, and emerging fintech concepts.”
“This program provides the latest research and cutting edge approach to finance to help you grow and sustain your organization's competitive advantage. Participants will learn how to use financial statements and new technology to understand an industry's competitive landscape, identify opportunities to improve performance, forecast future financial performance and cash flows, and value a firm,” said Kathleen Fitzgerald, Adjunct Associate Professor of Strategic Management, Chicago Booth. “In addition, you'll establish a new understanding and comfort level with blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).”
XED and Chicago Booth have started accepting applications for the inaugural cohort of EPFS, which starts on February 25, 2023. This program is designed for senior-level leaders in the Middle East and Asia who are fluent in English and wish to broaden their understanding of strategic finance to drive growth for their businesses.
