The incident occurred when a 2.5-year-old child from Pithoragarh Village, in Uttarakhand faced a life-threatening situation after accidentally falling into a water tank. Recognizing the severity of the situation, the child’s family acted swiftly, rushing him to seek medical attention.

Upon assessment by medical professionals at the district headquarters, it was evident that the child required immediate and specialized care available only at a higher medical facility. The family reached out to their networks for assistance, eventually garnering support from District Magistrate Ms. Reena Joshi. Ms. Joshi subsequently coordinated with FlyBig Airline to arrange the child’s swift transport to AIIMS Rishikesh. Despite the challenges posed by the emergency, FlyBig’s staff offered their support, ensuring that the child was flown promptly for specialized treatment.

The seamless coordination and swift action taken by all involved parties ensured that the child receivedurgent medical care at AIIMS Rishikesh. The dedicated efforts of medical professionals at the facility ultimately helped in saving the child’s life.
