KVIC Distributes 2,050 Bee Boxes Under Honey Mission
KVIC (Khadi and Village Industries Commission) Chairman Shri Manoj Kumar has distributed 2,050 bee boxes and honeybee colonies across six states under the Honey Mission initiative. This initiative aims to promote beekeeping as a means of generating sustainable employment and boosting honey production in India.
The distribution took place across six states, benefiting rural and tribal beekeepers by providing them with modern beekeeping equipment and training. The Honey Mission is an important step toward increasing the country’s honey production, improving pollination for better agricultural yields, and supporting the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
