Significant increase in India’s coal production and dispatch
India's coal production for FY 2023-24 has increased to 803.79 MT as of February 6, 2024, showing a significant growth of 12.07% from 717.23 MT recorded during the same period for FY 2022-23. Coal dispatch as on the same date has increased to 815.11 MT, showing a much higher growth than 736.00 MT reported during the same period of the last financial year, registering a growth rate of 10.75%.
