Built on 4.12 acres, at a cost of Rs 17 crore, the permanent campus of National Skill Training Institute (Women) at Anand Nagar, Agartala stands as a symbol of progress and commitment. NSTI (W), operating at Gurkhabasti, Agartala, West Tripura in 2015 under MSDE, Government of India, focuses on providing vocational training to women trainees of Agartala, Tripura and North Eastern region. With emphasis on occupations with high employability potential, the institute provides need-based training for wage and self-employment. The campus consists of academic and administrative blocks as well as a hostel for 32 girls.

Newly constructed two storey hostel building at NSTI Vadodara, approximately Rs. The building, costing Rs 6 crore, has 40 rooms to accommodate 80 trainees on twin-sharing basis. This feature ensures comfortable living conditions with natural ventilation. Equipped with facilities like gymnasium and open spaces for sports activities, the hostel promotes holistic development among the trainees.

NSTI Vadodara, initially established in 1993, has been a pioneer in skill development of women. The institute, now housed in its own campus spread over 6 acres, has recently added a new hostel building to accommodate more trainees. With a focus on trades under CTS and CITS, NSTI Vadodara offers a wide variety of courses including Computer Operator Programming Assistant, Fashion Design and Technology and Office Management. The institute offers short-term training programs catering to a variety of skill sets.
